Manager Nick Greenwood insists the division has yet to see the best of Eastbourne Borough.
Borough suffered their third consecutive defeat when they went down 2-1 against Redbridge at Priory Lane.
Goals in each half by Glenn Poole and Ellis Remy put the visitors in control before Richard Harris pulled one back for Borough on 79 minutes.
Harris had the ball in the net in the dying seconds but the goal was disallowed for offside.
Greenwood said: "Things are not going for us at the moment and we feel we haven't done ourselves justice.
"We cannot fault the effort or commitment, it has been individual errors which have cost us. Hopefully it will be a case of just picking up that one result which will get things going."
