I have just read your preview of Summer Holiday at the Pavilion Theatre in Worthing (The Argus, August 23).
Having seen the show on Sunday night I feel the previewer has not been to or even taken the trouble to find out about the production.
It is not based on the Cliff Richard film. The preview said "the three protagonists adapt a bus to go off on their holidays." The only mention of a bus in the production is the name of a club - The Double Decker in London.
Please could you better inform theatre-goers who may turn up expecting something entirely different. The production was lively and enjoyable despite not being what I expected.
