Two points slipped from Hastings United's grasp after a 1-1 draw at Dorking.
Leading through a Russell Eldridge strike, Hastings looked comfortable until conceding a soft equaliser.
Hastings keeper Danny Knowles saved well from Stewart Vaughan on four minutes but the visitors rallied and, after Chris Honey had gone close, they took the lead on 41 minutes.
Honey's shot from 18 yards hit a defender and Eldridge pounced on the loose ball to score.
Dorking levelled on 52 minutes after a long throw caused mayhem and a combination of Jean Serge Nusungu and substitute Marlon Campbell applied the finishing touch.
