It is obvious John Prescott is stalling over the Brighton and Hove Albion plans for the football ground at Falmer. He will not come clean until after the General Election.
There is no doubt plans are in the pipeline for the betterment of the western area of the Brighton Marina.
Just north is the Blackrock Valley and the Whitehawk Football Ground. It would be an ideal site for the Albion to revamp the ground and share with the Whitehawk Football team.
As there are other sporting activities taking place in this area, no-one could object that it would spoil an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
As an improved public transport system is visualised from the city centre and Brighton railway station to the Marina, it would be simple to extend it to Blackrock Valley.
I expect it will mean improving Wilson Avenue but that will serve as a reminder of the good times under old Labour.
