The UK's first lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender job fair has attracted interest from a number of national employers.
Major local and national employers are converging at Hove Town Hall on Wednesday, including American Express, Halifax, Bank of Scotland, Marks & Spencer, Brighton and Hove City Council, the University of Sussex, NHS trusts, Jobcentre Plus and others.
Persia West, of organisers A Place At The Table, said: "These are organisations that want to do something, to walk their talk about diversity and inclusion.
"The tide has turned and the welcome mat is out.
"It is recognised by these leading edge employers, in a time of skills shortage and a changing world, that diversity makes good business sense."
