Midfielder Neil Watts and defender Lee Newman are poised for their Burgess Hill debuts when Wessex League outfit Brockenhurst visit Leylands Park in the FA Cup.
Watts, a Varndean College pupil who has been with England Schools' under-18s, and fellow teenager Newman, who was formerly with Peacehaven, are likely to figure as Gary Croydon shuffles his side to cover for the absence of on-loan defender Marc Cable (cup tied) and striker Nicky Sullivan (rested).
Defender Sean Edwards (facial injury) and forward Steve Harper (knee) should be fit.
Hastings United midfielders Jon Wallis (hamstring) and Steve Ringwood (hamstring) are ruled out of the preliminary round tie against Croydon at the Pilot Field.
United manager Steve Lovell expects to pick from the same squad which drew 1-1 with Dorking on Monday for the clash with a Croydon side currently second from bottom in Ryman League division one.
Horsham manager John Maggs is hoping the FA Cup will inspire his players.
The Hornets face Chipstead in the preliminary round at Queen Street. Maggs said: "The results have been good but we have not played anywhere near what we are capable of.
"We have looked poor and I'm hoping that playing in the FA Cup will kick-start the players into performing the way they should be."
Midfielder Andy Walker is a doubt with a thigh strain, but full-back Start Hardy returns after missing Monday's 1-1 draw against Dulwich due to family commitments.
