It looks as if another fine building is soon to be turned into luxury apartments for the rich - Saltdean's Ocean Hotel, one of the finest examples of art deco architecture in Sussex, formerly owned by Butlins and a place that holds memories for many people (me included).
Alas, it has to go, as some big property developer sees it as Delboy would say, "a nice little earner, Rodders".
Further along the coast in Seaford is what was the Mercury Motel, now the site of another big development of flats and houses.
