I am a regular user of Brighton and Hove Bus and Coach Company's bus service and in the main am very satisfied with it.
One thing I find unjust, however, is that the elderly of Brighton and Hove have to pay full fare before 9am.
One morning before 9am, I was travelling on the number 7. The bus had gone about two stops when a woman got on with a twin push chair the size of a mini that took up two fold-up seats plus the seat she sat on, all for one half fare.
A couple of stops further on, an elderly lady got on after a bit of a struggle.
She had to pay full fare because it was before 9am.
Brighton and Hove has an excellent bus service but I do find it unjust when the elderly are penalised like this.
