Olympic theme song singer Jo Appleby is embarking on a new business venture hiring out classically trained singers for parties and events.
Soprano Jo and business partner Fenella Kemp have latched on to what they say is a growing trend for live music for special occasions.
Jo, from Burgess Hill, spends most of her time singing with the well-known opera band Amici Forever, which recorded the BBC theme song Eternal Flame, heard by millions during Athens 2004.
Jo, 29, and Fenella will supply singers through their online business, voiceslive.co.uk in Chailey, near Lewes.
