I am very annoyed at the way the Media discloses the plot/winner of forthcoming TV programmes.

It spoils half the enjoyment or ruins it altogether.

The worst example was giving out the name of the winner of a million pounds before the programme was broadcast.

Two instances last week - after I had read what was in Sinatra's coffin, I had no incentive to watch the programme and then we were given the name of the winner of junior Mastermind.

Just why is this done?

It's so unnecessary. Comment and criticism after the programme is interesting but to spill the beans beforehand spoils everything.
