It is all very well for Michael Howard to visit the Clock Tower and pontificate about cutting crime, improving neighbourhoods and increasing police numbers.
But next time he visits, could he wander just a few yards down the road and have a look at the telephone booth that has been defaced by his Conservative candidate for this constituency?
It is one thing for phone booths to be plastered with prostitutes, cards and massage parlours but I never thought I would see the day a Conservative candidate would join in.
What next? Mr Howard's beliefs sprayed on walls as graffiti art?
Perhaps Pavilion Constituency's Conservative candidate Mike Weatherley should be given an anti-social behaviour order.
