A newly-formed pressure group wants help in its campaign against plans to extend Shoreham airport.
Communities Against Runway Expansion (Care) has 200 members but feels it is being ignored by authorities plotting the 94-year-old airport's future.
The Argus revealed this week that five firms have shown an interest in taking a financial stake of up to £30 million in the airport. Brighton and Hove City Council and Worthing Borough Council, who share ownership, are now inviting formal investment bids.
Care secretary Jean Kitchener said: "If a private investor comes in and invests money in the area, that could be a good thing. But the flights should stay as they are."
The group is appealing for volunteers to help organise events and leafleting, as well as suggestions for a poster.
The slogan contest is due to be decided at a coffee morning in Lancing Parish Rooms on October 30.
