Garry Wilson has earmarked tomorrow's visit of St Albans City as crucial to Eastbourne Borough's hopes of survival.

Borough are currently languishing second from bottom and although it is only early days Wilson knows they must start to pick up points if they are to avoid being sucked into a relegation scrap.

A lack of goals has seen Borough pick up just five points from their first seven games but Wilson will be hoping to put that right against a City defence who have leaked 14 goals so far.

The Borough boss said: "We are not in a great position at the moment but three out of our next four games are at home so we will hope to take advantage of that.

"We always knew it was going to be tough this season after coming up because there are a lot of strong sides in this division and getting off to a slow start has not helped.

"Our aim has got to be to survive this season and build for the future and if we keep improving like we have in the last four games we should be able to do that."

Danny Chapman is due to miss out after aggravating a hamstring injury in last Saturday's 1-1 draw at Grays but Stuart Playford is available again.
