A rare header from Paul Rogers helped Worthing to their second win of the season.

The former Albion skipper nodded in a corner from Mark Hawthorne in the first half as Rebels ended Northwood's four-match unbeaten run with a 3-0 success.

Shaun Grice had put the visitors in front with a twice-taken penalty after Nko Ekoku had been fouled and Phil Ruggles made the points safe ten minutes from time.

Assistant manger Danny Bloor said: "It was funny because we've played better this season and not got our rewards. Hopefully now we can get a run going. We're getting a few players back from injury and the team spirit is superb."
