Lewes boss Steven King admits his side were lucky to come away with a the points at Redbridge.
A Junior Kadi volley after just 11 minutes gave Rooks the points to move them up to fifth in the table.
King said: "It was a snatch and grab raid if I was honest. They played better than us and I would say they were the best team we have faced this season.
"I said sorry to their manager after the game, but he knew these things happen to every team and I'm just glad on this occasion we got the three points."
