It seems everything possible is being done to discourage the use of Southwick beach.
I feel so sorry for these people who have been clamped.
Perhaps the port authority can tell us why it has sunk to such depths?
Surely a few cars parked are no danger to other people and do not warrant being treated this way?
Let's face it, not many of the port firms work on a Sunday anyhow.
The car park in question is not very big.
What about having another one just east of the hot water pipe to ease the situation? It would make far more sense than employing a private clamping firm.
