Farmers facing big losses after the wet summer have been thrown a lifeline by Barclays.
The bank is allowing arable farmers to defer repayments for up to six months until they receive this year's support cheque.
Area director Duncan Ponikwer said: "The weather has left many farmers with damaged crops, poor quality reduced yields and extra drying costs."
Customers should speak to their agricultural manager.
