Worthing chalked up their second straight victory with a comfortable win over Kingstonian at Woodside Road.

Manager Alan Pook had demanded six points from his players before the weekend and they duly reached his target last night.

Goals in each half from Andy Alexander and Paul Rogers gave Rebels victory.

Rebels had to battle with ten men for the entire second half after Shaun Grice was shown a red card just before the interval for reacting to a late challenge.

Worthing also had boss Pook sent to the stands when the referee alleged he had used foul and abusive language at the visitors' bench three minutes from the interval.

Alexander gave Rebels the lead on 38 minutes following a corner headed back across goal by Mark Knee. Worthing sealed victory on the hour. Kingstonian failed to deal properly with a cross by Sam Rents and Rogers smashed the ball home.
