I cannot praise highly enough the effectiveness and professionalism of the NHS.
In July I suffered a sudden illness. Within minutes of being called, an ambulance arrived. The paramedics diagnosed my problem, brought me back to consciousness and literally saved my life by their prompt diagnosis and treatment. I shall be forever indebted to them and the wonderful service they represent.
I was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital and spent almost a week in the urology ward. The dedicated staff treated me with unwavering concern and compassion day and night.
We should all be thankful for the benefits of the National Health Service which is still the best system in the world.
