Tommy Pattenden took his tally for the season to 11 after his four-goal haul helped Whitehawk consign ten-man East Grinstead to a 5-0 defeat in division one.
Grinstead had Mo Shuga'a dismissed for a second yellow card and manager Bob Smith ordered from the dugout as the Hawks went on the rampage.
Pattenden said: "We have turned the corner. We have been playing with a lack of belief in a few of our games but now we are going out and dominating sides. Ben Garman got Hawks' other goal.
Three Bridges secured their first win of the season after a 5-1 hammering of champions Chichester with goals from Pat Massaro (2), Gavin Jones (2) and Darren Freeman.
Joe Laidlaw's early strugglers Sidlesham pulled off a surprise when they beat Hassocks 4-0 with Wayne Emery on target for the first time this season with a hat-trick while fellow striker James Crawford, who is on loan from Fareham, got the other.
Laidlaw said: "It is going to take time but we will keep improving as the season goes on. This will make a few teams sit up and take note and if they don't come here with the right attitude, then they will also be on the receiving end of results like this."
Worthing United recorded their sixth win in seven games with a 2-1 success against Redhill as Dave Schneider, with a looping header, and the hard-working Steve Webb found the net. United boss Ian Browne said: "I was really pleased for Webb as he has been working very hard and playing the best football of his career."
Eastbourne Town beat Arundel 2-1 in the RUR Cup second round with Shaun Loft and Steve Dallaway on target.
