Horsham came from 3-0 down to beat Abingdon United 4-3 in a Queen Street thriller which ended with both sides reduced to ten men in an incident-packed FA Cup clash.
It looked grim for the Hornets when Andy Marriott, Ryan Curtin and Nathan Woodley scored in the first 15 minutes for the visitors.
But Hornets stormed back to level with three goals in eight minutes from Lee Carney, Gary Charman and Florian Mateos with his first goal for the club.
Tempers boiled over with 14 minutes left when Horsham's James Crofts, who had only just returned from a three-match ban, was sent off for a second bookable offence after a bust-up with Woodley who got a straight red.
But Horsham won it with five minutes left when Adam Burton turned the ball into his own net under pressure from Charman.
