Singer Billy Bragg is auctioning the Brighton and Hove Albion shirt he wore on the March for Falmer.
The left-wing songwriter and West Ham fan hopes to raise money for the Seagulls by selling the shirt he put on during the march outside the Labour conference last Monday.
Thousands of fans took to the streets to lobby John Prescott for a new 22,000-seat stadium at Village Way North, Falmer.
Already bids have topped £100.
Bragg, a supporter of The Football Trust, said he had joined the march to support local people, saying now Brighton and Hove needs a cathedral and a stadium as a city.
The shirt belonged to staunch Albion fan and fund-raiser Alan Wares.
Afterwards Bragg signed the shirt "Viva Albion" with his distinctive autograph.
Bids for the shirt can be made at www.northstandchat.biz, the Albion fans' web site.
