Albion manager Mark McGhee today urged the club to resolve not just his own future but the rest of the backroom staff as well.
McGhee is poised for new contract talks with chairman Dick Knight next week.
He wants to include in the discussions every member of his backroom team, from assistant Bob Booker to kit man Ken Barnard, to ensure continuity behind the scenes.
"I will get together with Dick next week to discuss my situation but I also want to include all of the staff in that discussion," McGhee said.
"It is not just about Mark McGhee, it is about everyone's contract situation, the whole set-up.
"There seems to be a fog of uncertainty. Bob, for example, has not got a written contract but has been told he is here for the duration."
Meanwhile, McGhee is encouraged by talks earlier this week between him, the chairman and Leon Knight's agent.
Striker Knight, out of contract in the summer, revealed to The Argus last week he wants a new three-year deal.
McGhee said: "It was a very productive meeting. Leon's agent knows where we are coming from and I think it will produce some progress."
McGhee is torn between continuing with Knight on the left flank or restoring him to his recognised role as an orthodox forward at Stoke tomorrow, with Adam Virgo suspended.
Goalkeeper Rami Shaaban will be trying to maintain his 100 per cent record for the Seagulls after signing a contract for the rest of the season.
"It will be a very tough game, like every game we play from now until the end of the season," said Shaaban. "As we have seen, everybody can beat everybody in this league."
The Seagulls' preparations for the trip to the Potteries have been disrupted by the icy weather.
They were unable to train on Wednesday and struggled to find a grassy area yesterday, with the training pitches at Falmer still under snow.
Tomorrow's match is not in doubt. There has been no snow in Staffordshire and there is undersoil heating at the Britannia Stadium.
Stoke add defenders Michael Duberry and Wayne Thomas to their squad.
Duberry, re-signed permanently from Leeds after a loan spell, is expected to replace flu victim Gerry Taggart.
Former Torquay stopper Thomas has missed the last four games with calf and groin injuries.
