Kerry Mayo is back in contention for Albion's trip to Burnley on Saturday.
The long-serving defender came through a run-out in the reserves with flying colours. Mayo made his comeback from cartilage surgery in the opening 45 minutes of a goalless draw for a youthful line-up at Millwall yesterday.
Reserve boss Dean White said: "Kerry played the first half and came through that okay. He looked in decent nick and will now be in contention."
Mayo, sidelined for the last three matches, has been added to the squad leaving today for a two-night break at a luxury hotel in Chester in preparation for the Burnley match.
A reserve side otherwise made up entirely of scholars held their own against an experienced Millwall team including player-manager Dennis Wise, Brighton-born Paul Ifill and Kevin Muscat.
Chris Breach was carried off just before half-time with a suspected recurrence of a broken foot.
