Members of the East Brunswick Residents Association are all joining forces to take part in a competition that will involve the whole community in an attempt to not only improve their area but mark the fact that 2010 is the UN Year of Biodiversity.
With the theme of Going Wild, the support of Brighton & Hove City Council's Simon Allen (Council officer responsible for the City in Bloom project) and a grant from the Brunswick & Regency Neighbourhood Action Group, they aim to make short and long term improvements to the area. This will include graffiti removal and pavement cleaning, a green corridor that will stretch up to the Green Flag award winning St Annes Well Gardens.
The area has previously had major successes in the City In Bloom competition and is home to featured gardens such as Brunswick Square, Palmeira Square and the Floral Clock
