Children aged between nine and eleven can sign up for lessons for life.
They will include instructions about wildlife awareness, road safety, first aid, fire and safety and drugs and alcohol.
The course will be run by East Sussex Fire and Rescue service in partnership with Brighton and Hove council, Sussex Police and Communities against Drugs.
They will be at St Georges Hall,Newick Road, Mondays and Thursdays starting the 12th of April.
