A 25-year-old has been killed after a crash on the A281 between Mannings Heath and Horsham at 4.10pm today.
The unnamed woman was driving a Peugeot saloon car which crashed with a lorry.
Sussex Police have said there are no reports of injury to the lorry driver at this stage.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The A281 was closed in both directions but is now reopen.
