On Christmas Day I parked my sleigh on Brighton seafront opposite the Metropole Hilton because I was delivering presents to children staying at the hotel for their Christmas break.
Can anyone tell if you can park there free on Christmas Day or do you still have to buy a ticket?
I and a lot of other people bought tickets – mine cost me £4 for four hours.
But according to media reports, parking is free on Christmas Day.
If that is so why are the machines taking money and issuing tickets, or is it a case that if people don’t know, they will still pay?
The sign on the machines says you pay even on bank holidays.
So come on get your act together. Do we pay or not? I saw no men in blue around.
Remember it is the season of goodwill.
