The parents of a missing teenage soldier are to fly to Tenerife to continue their desperate search for him.
Lyn and Terry Jackson will fly to Callao Salvaje, near Playa de las Americas, to look for their son Matthew.
The 18-year-old, from Bewbush, Crawley, was on holiday with his girlfriend Amy Taylor, also 18, when he went missing at 2am on December 18, following a night out.
Matthew, an electrician and driver with the 16th Signal Regiment based at Elmpt Station in Germany, was on Christmas leave and due back at base on January 4.
Concerned Mrs Jackson, 49, flew to Tenerife on December 19 when Amy told her Matthew had gone missing.
She flew home on Christmas Eve to be with her daughter but will now fly back to the island to resume her search.
A Facebook page with thousands of members has been set up by Matthew's sister, Claire Jackson, 21, called Bring Matt Home for Xmas.
