Last week when the snow came I was in the Royal Sussex County Hospital overnight and I have to congratulate the staff on the way they coped so admirably.
Many night staff stayed on without complaint after their shifts were over, while the day shift struggled to get to work.
Many of them had to make arrangements for childcare as the schools were closed.
Lots of them walked five miles and more to get in, so let’s not knock the NHS, let’s be thankful for their skills and dedication.
