Just how much longer are we going to put up with the inefficiencies of Worthing Borough Council?

We were warned that heavy snowfalls were anticipated so why was the council not prepared with supplies of salt and grit?

We pay our council tax in advance so why is the council not ready to act in advance?

How many people suffered broken bones as a result of falling over on ice-encrusted pavements all because Worthing Borough Council could not be bothered to spread some salt and grit over the pavements?

Three days after the snow, people were still falling over on ice-covered pavements.

Worthing Borough Council cannot say it did not have sufficient personnel.

Why in advance did it not offer some overtime to refuse collectors?

It is high time the people of Worthing stood up and said enough is enough. These highly-paid individuals at the council have to stop worrying about their fancy pensions and start worrying about the people who pay their salaries.
