NOW that last week’s snow and ice has started to melt away, I’d like to thank everyone who stepped in and helped their neighbours and their local community during the severe weather.
Many residents cleared the pathways outside their houses and kept an eye on their vulnerable and elderly neighbours, showing a true community spirit during the adverse weather.
It’s times like these that the real spirit of our residents shine through and this is what makes living in Brighton and Hove so special.
Councillor Mary Mears
leader, Brighton and Hove City Council
