Hospital managers are working to contain cases of a potentially fatal superbug.
There have been 15 cases of clostridium difficile (C.diff) recorded at Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust since November.
The trust, which runs Worthing Hospital, Southlands Hospital in Shoreham and St Richard's Hospital in Chichester, has treated 125 patients with C.diff since April, once of the highest rates in the county.
Some of the affected patients had caught the C.diff bug in the community while others developed it while in hospital.
The trust has stepped up its infection control measures, including opening a dedicated isolation ward at St Richard' and a new cleaning rota system at Worthing.
Overall the trust is still on course to meet its target of having no more than 257 reported cases between April and next March.
