A TEACHER has resigned from her job to concentrate on an audacious bid to qualify for the GB Olympics team.
Natasha Hunt, 29, from Southease, near Lewes, has been taking part in a zero-to-hero experiment to try to win a place in the Modern Pentathlon team for London 2012.
Miss Hunt has now given up her job at Oakwood School in Horley, Surrey, to go full-time with her training.
She will be backed by sponsors who have supported her campaign following a series of media appearances.
At the first of a series of GB team trials in Bath last weekend she impressed selectors, prompting her Lewes-based coach Robert Parsons to say she had a strong chance of success.
