Two men have been arrested over a string of knifepoint robberies at shops.
Detectives have linked seven crimes in Worthing, including raids at Co-op and Alldays stores.
In several cases staff were forced at knifepoint to open safes and hand over large amounts of cash.
Police arrested one man in his 40s and one in his 30s on Thursday night on suspicion of carrying out the raids.
They were being questioned in custody last night.
