With wife Zoe Ball expecting a baby, Norman “Fatboy” Cook is ending 2009 on a high note after a year of ups and downs including a spell in rehab for alcohol addiction – during which time Zoe donated his beloved hip flask collection to charity shops. The DJ became an ambassador for Brighton’s thriving 1990s dance scene with his Big Beat Boutique and he is now as much a part of the city’s fabric as the Palace Pier.
He’s back doing what he does best on Wednesday, spreading festive cheer through the decks at the Brighton Coalition.
Expect big tunes and good times.
