There’s a huge break from tradition at this month’s edition of the ever-popular club night: DJ Chris King will forgo his strict female artists-only rule and spin tunes by both sexes in a Christmas special marking the 50th anniversary of the Motown label.
Team Da Doo felt they couldn’t properly celebrate “the greatest record label ever” without including the boys, so get ready to enjoy hits from Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson, alongside the usual helpings of classic girl pop from the likes of Martha Reeves, Gladys Knight and Diana Ross.
An unmissable festive treat bound to get clubbers – you guessed it – dancing in the street.
