It seems there’s been a different Christmas market for every day of the advent calendar so far, but the Brighton Centre’s is the only one that boasts its own ice rink. To mark the launch of popular public ice-skating event Get Your Skates On, which sees the Brighton Centre chilled to house a temporary rink, a festive market takes place. Browse more than 40 stalls offering gifts, handmade decorations, Christmas trees and homewares. Children can meet Santa and his elves in a Christmas grotto and mums can enjoy on-the-spot beauty treatments.

There will also be children’s entertainers, carol singers and festive face painting.
