Detectives trying to establish whether Peter Tobin is responsible for more killings released photographs today of pieces of jewellery found at his homes.
They hope members of the public will be able to identify the jewellery and have urged anyone with information to come forward.
Robin Merrett, assistant chief constable of Sussex police, who is heading the investigation into Tobin's background, said the jewellery was in Tobin's possession in 1991 and 2006.
The jewellery found includes:
:: Two gold clasps, each measuring about a centimetre in diameter;
:: Two pendants - one round and silver and measuring about 2cm in diameter, a second oval-shaped measuring about 1cm in diameter;
:: A badge showing a silver horse rearing up under a golden crown;
:: A badge showing what appears to be the head of a silver moose;
:: A gold badge showing a circle sitting on a cross.
