A steam train passed through Sussex yesterday taking passengers from London to Chichester.
The A2 class Bittern, which holds the British steam speed record of 126mph, is made up of 11 coaches and was taking people to a carol concerts at Chichester Cathedral.
The train left London Victoria at about 10am on Saturday and picked passengers up in East Croydon and Redhill before heading south along the Brighton mainline through Haywards Heath and over the Balcombe viaduct, before going west to Chichester.
