This is the little boy that sends dance judges into a spin.

When talented AJ Martin puts his crystal-encrusted gold suit on he tends to walk away with an equally eye catching trophy or two.

The eight-year-old was truly a 'tiny dancer' when he started competing aged just four.

Honing his talents in the area of freestyle disco, he hasn't hung up his dancing shoes yet – practicing three times a week at the Freestyle Dance Academy in Worthing.

Having already won championships in West Sussex, Dorset and Hampshire, he is now the youngest Southern Counties under 12 champion.

His mum Tracy Martin, from Portslade, spends much of the time when she is not taking AJ dancing polishing his 60-plus trophies.

Next year she says he is hoping to compete in Norway and gain a European title.
