On Monday I saw Lord of the Dance. Now this isn't something I would have usually chosen to see but I bought two tickets as a gift for my mum and it was quite amazing.

From the beginning I was mesmerised by the girls, their legs were bending like spaghetti in ways that seem unnatural yet at the same time fluid and controlled (not like spaghetti!)

The two I was most impressed with were the two girls who managed to play the violin at the same time a dancing, getting gradually faster and faster - very impressive.

They have managed to make tap dancing cool again so if you have a chance to see the show (I believe it is on its last tour) definitely take the opportunity and you too will be inspired to dance.
