For months we have been wanting to go to Born Bad, a 60’s rockabilly night at Komedia and last night we finally had a chance. Entry was not until 11 giving you enough time to get home from work, relax, play dress up and have a drink.

So we rocked up, around midnight, me fully equipped in red polka dot dress and beehive and my partner looking like Buddy Holly, both very excited. Maybe it was because we had hyped up this night so much, but I have to admit it was a bit of a let down.

They played 60’s music yes, but nothing you would have heard of, not that many people made the effort of dressing up and the night ended up similar to ever other club night – which is a shame. Saying that, I would go again as it was still fun to dress up and dance to a different style of music, and as the night as so much potential I am hoping that it was a blip in a great series of nights.
