I don’t want to put a damper on the introduction of bendy buses in Brighton but from my experience when visiting London I have found the bendy buses have very rattly doors.
Maybe that’s another reason London people don’t like them. It drives me mad, and if I have the choice of a No 73 bendy bus or a “normal” No 8 to go to Oxford Circus when I get to Victoria, I’d rather get the No 8 any day.
I’ve got tinnitus which makes me a bit hard of hearing anyway! Of course I could take the Tube, but thanks to Adur District Council I have a bus pass so I like to use that.
From a pedantic 63-year- old musician, whose tinnitus was probably caused by sitting beside a loud drummer for 40 years anyway.
