Alexander McQueen's Darwin-inspired shoes
....these shoes (pictured) by British designer Alexander McQueen. The crystal-studded 12-inch platform shoes were part of a collection at LFW, inspired by Charles Darwin's The Origin Of The Species.
Personally I can't decide whether I love them (from an artistic point of view) or hate them (from a toe-crippling 'there's no way I'd be seen dead in those' point of view), although I do admit I have already fallen in love with the rest of his new collection.
