A campaign for thalidomide victims to get more compensation is being backed.
Michaelina Argy's mother was prescribed thalidomide to ease morning sickness until the drug's devastating effects were discovered.
Ms Argy, 47, from Forest Row, near East Grinstead, is one of almost 500 survivors who are facing increasing health problems.
Ms Argy, a single mother with two daughters, Jessica, ten, and Madeline, nine, received £18,000 a year from the Thalidomide Trust but said it wasn't enough.
The Thalidomide Trust said more Government cash was needed to help victims as they grew older.
