SECURE: Lord Mandelson after he made it into the conference
A security guard denied Lord Mandelson access to the Labour Conference in Brighton because of a problem with his pass.
The BBC reports the guard called a police sergeant to verify the business secretary’s credentials.
He then had to wait ten minutes at the conference’s security entrance before being allowed to enter.
