Local residents and service providers will be coming together tomorrow (Tuesday 15th September) to celebrate the past and plan positively for the future work of Coldean.
Coldean Community Conference will take place at St Mary Magdalen Church Hall from 10am – 2:30pm.
The free community day will include looking back at all the achievements they have accomplished in the last year and action planning projects and activities for the future. Coldean has some exciting projects going on including the planned improvements to the local parks, which is something that local residents will be talking about on the day.
The event, being organised by The Trust For Developing Communities and the Working Together Project, will provide an opportunity for residents to find out more about what’s going on locally, share their views, and get involved in local community groups and projects. It will also be an opportunity for service providers to give some commitment to developing services locally or working in partnership with existing services to fill any gaps presented on the day.
The event is open to all residents in Coldean and all Service Providers of Brighton & Hove. It is supported by the Brighton and Hove City Council.
