Charles Ademeno should have marked his return to action with a first-half goal as Crawley dominated tonight's Blue Square premier clash at home to Histon.
Ademeno, fit after missing two games with a heel injury had three good chances in the opening 16 minutes.
He fired wide after ten minutes and four minutes later forced Histon keeper Craig Naisbitt to block his powerful shot on the turn only to balloon the rebound over the bar.
Ademeno then beat Naisbitt with a clever lob which bounced over the bar.
Kieran Djilai wastefully shot over after Ademeno found him in plenty of space but Histon had their moments too with Josh Simpson, twice, and Michael Frew going close.
