I fully support Dr Michael Irwin and admire him for the help he gave Raymond Cutkelvin (The Argus, September 5) who was suffering from an inoperable tumour of the pancreas and wished to end his life.
It was Mr Cutkelvin’s choice to die in a Swiss clinic with friends and family around him rather than to drag on through inevitable deterioration to his death.
